How to start a project

The easiest way to begin is a short email or the form on this page, which opens your own email app with your message filled in. Nothing is sent from this website directly. After we read your note, we will suggest a time for a short intro call to talk through the idea.

What to include

You do not need a polished brief. A few lines on each of these points is plenty:

• The idea. What is the film about, and how should it make people feel?
• Where it will be seen. Social feeds, broadcast, a website, a festival, a live event?
• Length and formats. Roughly how long, and which aspect ratios?
• Timing. When do you need it, and is there a fixed launch date?
• Budget range. Even a rough range helps us suggest the right approach.
• References. Films, images or materials you love.

What happens next

We usually reply within two business days, though it can take longer during busy shooting weeks. After the intro call we send a short written scope with an approach, schedule and quote. Nothing is booked until both sides have agreed and signed a contract.

Visiting the studio

Our stages in Brooklyn and Burbank welcome clients by appointment during production. For remote teams we share daily stills and clips and can arrange live review sessions on key shooting days.

Pitch deck and rate card

If you would like to see our pitch deck and indicative rate card before a call, just ask in your email. We send it by reply, usually after a short exchange so we can include the examples most relevant to your project.

A note on privacy

When you use the form on this page, your message goes from your own email account to ours. We use your details only to reply to you and to discuss your project, and we never add you to a mailing list without asking.
