‘Home Improvement’ alum Zachery Ty Bryan could face full prison sentence after 3 probation violations

“Home Improvement” alum Zach Ty Bryan could face a full sentence after violating his probation three times.

Bryan admitted to the violations while appearing in an Oregon court Monday, ABC News affiliate station KEZI reported. The sitcom actor, 44, will allegedly be sentenced on Feb. 17.

In 2023, Bryan was given three years of probation instead of 20 months in prison after being convicted of domestic violence.

Now, his probation officer is asking the court to give Bryan the full sentence after he was reportedly arrested multiple times for driving under the influence of intoxicants over a period of 26 months.

His rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Earlier this year, Bryan and his fiancée, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, were arrested after the actor violated his domestic violence probation.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office put out a statement at the time confirming that authorities “responded to a report of reckless endangering in the area of Big Fall Creek Road milepost 5, a popular camping area northeast of Lowell.”

The duo had been driving together with their three young children and at some point, Bryan got out of the truck and began walking along the road, the report stated.

“Cartwright then attempted to run over Bryan, crashing the truck with the children inside into the ditch. Bryan was able to move out of the way and avoid injury. No one inside the pickup was injured,” the statement read.

Deputies observed that there were signs they were “both impaired” and also learned that “Bryan was not supposed to be in contact with Cartwright.”

Bryan was arrested for violating his probation, while Cartwright was arrested for attempted assault in the first degree, three counts of recklessly endangering and driving under the influence.

In 2020, Cartwright accused Bryan of attacking her and he was charged with felony strangulation, menacing, assault and harassment.

Bryan previously claimed that his childhood fame left him with “scars” and said he “deeply” regretted his actions.

“Being thrust into the spotlight at nine years old brought pressures I wasn’t equipped to handle — but that’s no justification for my choices as an adult,” he told TMZ in November.

He also blamed his “repeated legal issues” on his struggles with “the lasting effects of early fame, addiction, and poor decision-making.”
