Dilynn Turner is facing the fight of her life after a devastating car accident. On January 2nd, while driving home alone after getting her hair done, Dilynn was involved in a serious crash at the intersection of Highway 157 and Childhaven Road in Cullman, Alabama.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and, due to weather conditions, transported her by ambulance to Huntsville Hospital. Dilynn suffered a traumatic brain injury, a fractured skull, a brain bleed, a broken leg, a broken jaw, and a ruptured ear. She is currently in a medically induced coma, and her family is holding onto hope and praying for her recovery every moment.
Dilynn’s family—including her mother Jessica, stepfather David, father Derek, stepmother Ashley, and her siblings Ayden, Peyton, Ally, Adalynn, Molly, Micah, and Brayden—are by her side, grateful for the outpouring of love and support from their community. Many people have reached out asking how they can help. Right now, the most immediate needs are for the everyday expenses that come with living at a hospital: overnight stays, meals, gas for trips back and forth, lost income from time off work, and potential medical and therapy bills.
While it’s never easy to ask for help, financial support would truly lift a huge burden for the Turner/Methvin family during this difficult time. Every prayer, every share, every message, and every small gift is felt deeply and appreciated more than words can express. Please continue to cover Dilynn and her family in your thoughts and prayers, and thank you for loving them so well.
