Inside the wall was a metal door — the entrance to a small secret compartment. However, that was not the worst part. From the lower part of the door, several wires were coming out, connected to an explosive device. It turned out that the secret compartment had been deliberately rigged with explosives so that any uninvited visitor trying to open it would trigger an explosion.

Bomb disposal experts were immediately called. After several hours of work, they managed to defuse the device. Only then was the metal door opened.

Inside the compartment, old documents, records of large sums of money, and evidence related to a series of serious crimes committed many years ago were found. Most importantly — information about the missing person was also discovered there, leading investigators to the criminals’ hideout.

A few days later, the police arrested the main suspects in the case, and the missing person was found alive.
