Figure skater Amber Glenn couldn’t hold back her tears after her devastating mistake landed her in 13th place in the Olympics 2026 women’s singles figure skating short program.
Cameras captured Glenn, 26, breaking down in an emotional moment after she failed to complete her triple toe loop and was docked in Tuesday’s event.
Glenn’s routine — which was set to Madonna’s “Like A Prayer” — started off well. She managed to land a difficult triple axel — making her only one of two women who completed the stunt along with Japan’s Ami Nakai.

She tearfully skated off the ice on Tuesday after she failed to complete her triple loop stunt.
But the move couldn’t make up for the 0 points she scored in her mistake on the triple loop. She was awarded a 67.39 — putting her more than 10 points behind leader Nakai.
Glenn, a top gold medal contender and 1/3 of the U.S.’s “Blade Angels” trio, looked defeated as she skated off the ice.
“I had it,” Glenn was then seen telling her coach Damon Allen after the skate, per the Dallas Observer.
“It’s not over,” Allen replied.

Glenn is a first-time Olympian. She also won gold in the team event on Feb. 8.
As for the rest of Team USA, Alyssa Liu, 20, nabbed a score of 76.59, earning her third place in the event while 18-year-old Isabeau Levito, earned 70.84, putting her in eighth place for her skate.
Japan’s Nakai and Kaori Sakamoto topped the competition in first and second place with scores of 78.71 and 77.23, respectively.
All the women qualified for the free skate program which will take place on Thursday. After which, medals will be awarded.

“She’s gone through so much and she works so friggen’ hard, like genuinely, such a hard worker and she’s overcome a lot,” Liu said, per People.
“I just want her to be happy. That’s genuinely all I want. And so I’ll be seeing her later, don’t worry guys. We’ll stick together.”

Cole Hauser and Gil Birmingham Show Two Very Different Faces of Modern Strength…
In the harsh world of Yellowstone, where violence, power, and loyalty intertwine in a complex web, the concept of “power” is never defined in a single way. And perhaps no pair of characters exemplifies this better than the contrast between Rip Wheeler—played by Cole Hauser—and Thomas Rainwater, portrayed by Gil Birmingham. Two men, two ways […]
Do You Like Rebecca in Landman? In the demanding world of Landman, Rebecca stands out as a character whose strength does not depend on being the loudest voice in the room.
In the harsh portrayal of the oil industry that *Landman* depicts, where power is often demonstrated through pressure, money, and life-or-death decisions, the appearance of *Rebecca* creates an interesting contrast. She doesn’t enter the frame as a traditionally “overbearing” character. There are no ostentatious displays of power, no dialogue aimed at dominating the screen. But […]
