This Viral Photo Exposes the “True Side” of Alex Pretti — And Once People Learned What It Really Meant, Anger Exploded Across the Internet

s the image of a man dressed in drag a real photo of Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old man shot and killed by ICE agents in Minnesota? No, that’s not true: The person shown wearing a silver skirt and bra with rainbow-colored hair while holding a beer is Kyle Wagner, a self-described Antifa supporter in Minneapolis. That photo is unrelated to Pretti.

The claim appeared in a January 25, 2026, post on Facebook account @TrueReactionary (archived here). It opened with this caption on the photo of two people:

THE PIX ON THE LEFT IS THE PIX THE PRESS ALWAYS USES. I WONDER WHY THEY DON’T USE THE PIX ON THE RIGHT? THEIR NARRATIVE IS, HE WAS JUST A NORMAL GUY SAVING LIVES AT THE HOSPITAL. WELL.. HE DOESN’T LOOK ALL THAT NORMAL TO ME. JUST SAYING

BTW, NORMAL PEOPLE DON’T BRING FIREARMS TO PROTEST RILEY LEAST IF THEY WANT TO KEEP.

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

After the shooting, Wagner posted a video of Pretti being shot and killed by ICE on his Facebook page on Jan. 24, 2026, writing:

Do not pretend like this is far away or anyone other than a normal average American fucking citizen that was standing up for their fucking first amendment, right.
