A 26-year-old tourist from Australia remains missing after she failed to board her flight home following a solo trip to Las Vegas.
Sally Grace Contarino went on a solo trip to the United States, during which she planned to visit Las Vegas, Mount Charleston and Southern California.
While she was initially in contact with her family throughout the trip, Contarino’s family members later realized they had not heard from her since Saturday, June 20, and reported her missing, according to Red Rock Search & Rescue and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Although she was supposed to return to Australia on Sunday, June 21, per the Herald Sun, Contarino never arrived, and her family hasn’t heard from her since.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has opened a missing person case and is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Contarino. All hospitals in the area have been asked to check their registries for the missing person and notify the police immediately.
Contarino, who has brown hair and brown eyes, reportedly booked a bus ticket from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, where she planned to board her flight. According to The Sun, Contarino never scanned the bus ticket or showed up for her flight.
According to KSNV, Contarino was traveling alone and was last spotted near Mount Charleston, approximately 35 to 45 miles northwest of the Las Vegas Strip.

Security footage from Timbers Bar & Grill in Las Vegas also allegedly shows the tourist walking down the street one day before her disappearance, per The Sun. She left the restaurant around 10:30 p.m. local time on June 19 and was wearing dark-colored shorts and a tank top paired with black-and-white Converse shoes.
