Family Speaks Out: Nolan Wells’ father d3mands answers from his son’s friends, calling 0ut their 3xcuses as his best friend tells a completely different story

NOLAN Wells’ devastated father has made a demand of his son’s friends as the circumstances surrounding the teenager’s death remain a mystery.

The college football star’s best friend has also spoken out to slam the race claim being made by the family’s attorney Ben Crump and to deny claims that Wells was involved in a fight that took place the day he vanished.

The 18-year-old’s body was found off Horn Island, Mississippi, two days after he vanished during a Fourth of July boating trip with friends.

Now, his dad Elmore Wonsley has slammed the “excuses” made by Nolan’s friends who he believes left his son alone to die.

They left the island in their boat and claimed the teen stayed behind to hang out with a girl and chat to another group of friends.

Meanwhile, a mom to one of Nolan’s friends said her son and the others left the island after experiencing issues with their boat, and Nolan said he would get a ride back with another group.

Nolan’s mom Christine reported him missing after he failed to come home that night.

The teenager’s phone was left behind on the boat, sparking concern with his mom who found it odd that there is “absolutely nothing” on it documenting their Fourth of July outing.

His house keys were also left onboard.

They “have to answer to us,” Elmore said on Saturday in an interview on CNN’s First Of All with Victor Blackwell.

“If I was in that situation, Nolan would’ve got on the boat. I would not have left him there,” he said.

“If you come with me, you’re going to leave with me because if anything happens to you and I was the one that brought you there, then I would be the one to have the answer to your parents.

“So I’m not gonna leave anyone’s child anywhere if I took them somewhere.”

Joshua Gill, the United Cajun Navy’s incident coordinator for the search effort, previously told The U.S. Sun that as far as he knows none of Nolan’s friends stayed behind and waited for him.

Officials have not released Nolan’s cause or manner of death, and authorities have not said whether foul play is suspected.

The teenager being separated from his phone has become a key point in the case as a video went viral following his death that allegedly showed Nolan arguing with his friends.

The original poster said it was unclear if Nolan was in the video and that she only shared the clip when he was missing in an attempt to get information that would help identify and find him.

Nolan’s family and attorney have since claimed that you can hear Nolan asking for his phone back in the audio.

The U.S. Sun has listened to the video and it is not clear what is said and who is arguing on the beach.

John Ledbetter, the Jackson County sheriff, said the department is aware of a video circulating online that was allegedly filmed on Horn Island on the day Nolan disappeared.

They have not verified the video or said if it is connected to Nolan’s death.

Meanwhile, Nolan’s best friend Jayvon Williams, 17, has told TMZ Live that “nothing adds up” and has refuted claims that Nolan was involved in the alleged fight.

He confirmed it took place but said it involved someone else who was being “very hostile” and that Nolan was not part of it.

Williams also highlighted his surprise that he has not been approached by investigators and slammed the Wells’ family attorney who believes there may be a cover-up based on the state’s history of racial violence.

“Obviously they’re gonna paint it as [a race row] because none of this adds up,” he told the outlet.

A cause of death has not yet been released but preliminary evidence suggests he drowned, according to investigators.

The investigation into his death is active and ongoing.

“We just want to know what happened and why our baby didn’t come home,” Nolan’s devastated mom said as the family demands transparency.

An independent autopsy will also be carried out on the family’s behalf, with financial assistance coming from ex-NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Nolan’s family wasted little time in retaining the services of Crump, top civil rights attorney, after conflicting stories, odd explanations, and missing details emerged.
