McKee was on the run for nearly two weeks before he was captured by federal authorities at a Chick-fil-A near his Rockford medical practice on Jan. 10.
He was in custody in Illinois until he was transferred over to Ohio and booked in Franklin County Jail on Tuesday, the Columbus Dispatch reported.
The doctor waived extradition at a hearing earlier this month.
The killings, which left the Tepes’ two young children without parents, were targeted, authorities have said.
McKee and Monique Tepe were married for about two years before divorcing in 2017.
Monique married Spencer in 2020.
