A FRANTIC search has been launched for a 14-year-old girl who vanished from a quiet port town two days ago.

Detectives say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Tahlia Jardine, who disappeared from Barrow, Cumbria.

The 14-year-old is described as having blonde hair and was last seen wearing a brown hoodie and black trousers.

She hasn’t been seen since she was spotted in the Macadam Street area of Barrow at around 5:30pm yesterday evening.

Cops say the young teen has links to Dalton-In Furness and are frantically appealing for anyone who may have seen her to come forward.

Cumbria Constabulary has urged Tahlia to dial 101 if she sees the appeal for information on her whereabouts.
