“We miss her more than words could ever express,” her brother and rest of family expressed.
Renee Nicole Good, lovingly known by her family as “Nae Nae,” is being remembered as a bright presence whose warmth touched everyone around her. The 37-year-old Minneapolis mother of three is being mourned by brother pictured here, other siblings, her parents, children, and extended family, who say the loss has left a space that cannot be filled.
In a statement shared with media, Good’s family thanked the community for the overwhelming support they have received, noting that the kindness shown reflects the same care and compassion Renee gave freely throughout her life. They described her as a “beautiful light” who brought joy, love, and encouragement wherever she went.
Renee was the devoted mother of three children, ages 15, 12, and 6, and family members say her role as a mother was central to who she was. As they grieve, they are also seeking clarity surrounding the circumstances of her death, calling for transparency and accountability while emphasizing peace.
Memorials across Minneapolis continue to grow with flowers, photos, and messages honoring Renee’s life. Her family says they remain focused on remembering her humanity, protecting her legacy, and ensuring her children feel the love of a community that will not forget her.
