GoFundMe page has also been set up with Kletz’s uncle, Richie Kletz, to help support the family amid the difficult time.

“This beautiful angel will be missed by so many, especially her family and her friends. She was a very lovable, funny, and kind soul,” he wrote about his niece. “She was also very outgoing and always helped others.”

After sharing that the money will help the family with funeral and burial expenses, the uncle concluded the post with a final note to Kletz. “Fly high, Mariah. Rest in Peace,” he wrote. “I will forever love you and cherish all the memories and times we had together. Gone way too soon, young but will never be forgotten.”

Kletz’s obituary shared even more information about who the teen was. “She often spoke of her goal to one day become a CEO and approached life with determination, hope, and ambition. She was known for her loving and caring heart, always striving to bring happiness and peace to those around her,” the obituary read.

“Mariah was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need, consistently putting others before herself. She had a deep love for animals, showing them the same gentleness and compassion she showed to people,” the obituary continued. “Her beautiful smile, quiet strength, and tender spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.”
