“We received your message, and we understand. We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay,” Savannah stated in the 22-second video

Jason Pack, a former FBI special agent and crisis negotiator, discussed with the Daily Mail the significance of Savannah’s use of the word “celebrate” and its implications in ransom negotiations, reports the Express US.

“The word ‘celebrate’ stood out to me immediately. Savannah didn’t say ‘surrender her’ or ‘give her back.’ She said return her so we can ‘celebrate’. That’s the language of resolution, not confrontation. In any negotiation, you want to offer the other party a way to see this ending positively and peacefully for them too,” Pack explained.

Pack, a former FBI agent with 25 years of experience, observed that in his work with crisis negotiations, “the most dangerous moments come when communication breaks down. The Guthries are doing everything they can to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

An expert recently spoke to the Irish Star about Nancy’s potential kidnapper being likely “known to the family.”

This development follows a report from Tucson TV station KOLD News 13 on Friday, February 6, stating they had received a new message connected to Nancy’s case and passed it along to law enforcement. Officials confirmed they are examining the new message and verifying its legitimacy.

“The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are aware of a new message regarding Nancy Guthrie. Investigators are actively inspecting the information provided in the message for its authenticity,” Pima County authorities said in a statement.

The second message surfaced one day after Camron recorded a video on the family’s behalf, making another appeal to Nancy’s potential captors and requesting they make contact while providing proof of life.

“This is Camron Guthrie. I am speaking for the Guthrie family. Whoever is out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you. We haven’t heard anything directly. We need you to reach out, and we need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward. But first, we have to know that you have our mom. We want to talk to you, and we are waiting for contact,” he said.

KOLD 13 first received a ransom note on February 2. TMZ reported receiving a ransom note on February 3 demanding millions in Bitcoin. The Pima Sheriff’s Department and the FBI said they were aware of the notes and were evaluating their credibility at the time.

Nancy has been reported missing since Sunday, February 1, when she didn’t attend church service. She was last seen on Saturday, January 31, when she went to dinner at a family member’s home and was dropped off at 9:48 pm.

Pima Sheriff Chris Nanos said in the timeline that the garage door opened at that time and closed at 9:50 pm. At 2:28, her pacemaker app shows a disconnect from the phone.

Authorities have said they don’t have a suspect or a person of interest in the case so far.
